The Bible - God's Special Book'

Friends, as you might know, I've just completed the Bronze Medallion (Bible) Course from Koinonia Institute, Idaho, USA. My venerable teachers were Dan Stolebarger, Pastor Joe Focht  and Dr Chuck Missler. I've learned much and I want to share as much as I can with you.
Please remember the Bible is too vast a subject to cover even in a life-time. My desire is to bring out  a number of facts that will help you appreciate that the very ordinary- looking book you hold in your hands is no ordinary book. Its God's Word - Special, Supernatural and Life-giving. For Centuries Scientists have worked hard to disprove God and the Bible, but more and more, many of the skeptical theories that pervade our culture have been dis proven and have collapsed  in the light of evidence that has come from archaeological and documentary discoveries and from more knowledgeable and competent analysis available to us today. So the facts and the Science and the evidence is on our side. In fact, 20th century science has vindicated the Biblical perspectives of reality and the more one knows about the frontiers of science the more  comfortable the Creation account in Genesis and other Biblical phenomena read.
All of this will take up a lot of time and will cause confusion in the minds of those who are not familiar with the Bible. So we'll go very slowly taking just one fact at a time. And slowly, by God's grace, you will come to see that the Bible you hold in your hand is no ordinary book but a Love Letter to you from God Himself! For easy reference I'll number the facts.
Fact 1:
The Bible was not written by one man. Nor was it written in one life-time.

• The Word of God  consists of:
• 66 separate books
• Written by 40 different individuals 
• Over a period of over 1600 years
• In 3 different languages
• All having different backgrounds
• All from different strata/social structures
• Yet, we discover that these books contain an intricate, skillfully designed Integrated Message System -with not just the interlocking of the Old and New Testaments but where every number, every place name, every detail in the text is there by deliberate design.                                                                                     This could not happen unless it had its origin from outside our Space-Time and unless there was one authority overseeing its writing. Its important to note here, that the Bible is always its own witness.It  says: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God..." (2 Tim 3:14-17) and in 2 Peter 1:21 " For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man; but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit dictated and the holy men of God wrote!
